We've just spent a relaxing afternoon out the front of the cafe listening to the sweet dulcet tones of 14-year-old local lass Paige Dow, a voice made by angels...she'll be back again next week! 4 to 6pm Sunday!
Our friendly RACQ rep was not expecting to be rescuing a mischievous puppy on a routine call-out but he did a sterling job! Leigh, one of our cafe regulars, returned to her car with coffee in hand, to discover her red terrier puppy had managed to lock the doors! Naughty but super cute little beastie. Thank you for saving the day and setting him free RACQ!
Firstly, I can't believe this passion fruit vine was only 20cm tall less than six months ago! And secondly, look who's holidaying in its branches...
We're busy getting ship shape for the next peak season! So far we've installed a new BBQ, we were so busy watering the gardens with our bore water that the pump broke (so we installed a new pump), and of course replacing the site numbering that got backed over by some of our guests last season...and of course we couldn't do it without Baby James overseeing it all in his harness!
We planted this paw paw tree two months ago when it was only a few centimetres tall. Now it's grown to over seven feet and if you look closely you can see the first law paw fruit!
The Owners of Dunk Island View Caravan Park would like to extend a very warm welcome David and Robyn Bormann who have recently taken over the management of the park. David and Robyn will be posting updates from time to time on this page. This is the place to find out what's been going on and what exciting things we have coming up...
