- Alongside his best friend Kevan Fulton*, who will be coming over from Scotland to visit Australia on the 18th of
September, Bruce will be cycling 140 kilometres from Mission Beach to Cairns for a few nights of pre-fatherhood partying. Fun times outside the caravan park ahead.
In case you hadn't noticed there are a huge number of cyclists in Marcs Park for Cycle Queensland 2013. This basically involves lots of people cycling from Mission Beach to Port Douglas. Click here for the route map in case you're interested. Anyway, there is a special party tonight at Mission Beach Village Green from 6pm until 11pm, which will include live music and refreshments (some alcoholic). There is also a range of events being held at the Cycle Queensland campsite on both Saturday and Sunday, and the Mission Beach Community Arts Centre (located at the campsite) will have wonderful activities including a craft stall, sketching workshop and 'pushbike poetry session'! Which leaves us to tell you readers two things...
