After a long tenure at Scotty's and a well deserved holiday in Victoria, we would like to welcome Merris on board with the Dunk Island View Caravan Park Crew! 

Merris brings with her many years of experience as well as Merris' Muddiest Chocolate Mud Cake and the best Lasagne in North Queensland!  Damien has taken it upon himself to try these menu items and can highly recommend them!

Don't forget we are open for dine in or take away food every day of the week and nightly til 8 PM from Thursday to Monday!

Easter has come and gone at the park and was it ever busy!  Running at full capacity gave our new manager Lyndel a chance to see how things would run and it was smooth sailing.
Guests enjoyed some of the great weather and relaxing atmosphere that Mission Beach is famous for.
The café had a busy weekend also with plenty of fish, chips, burgers and coffees going out the door.
We would like to thank everybody for staying with us this year and welcome them back again at any time!

Cyclone Ita passed over the park on Saturday night as a Category 1.  The park suffered no major damage and we are fully operational.
If there can be something good from this, it is the fact that after a cyclone the weather is usually great!  Light winds and no major rain mean that it is the perfect time to come and stay with us.
Fishing is looking to be picking up as the creeks will have flushed out and the water is calm so you can get out to the reef or just around the coast with no problem!
