With the weather being perfect recently, some of the park guests have been having a ball on the water fishing.
 | Spanish Mackerel as well as Doggy Mackerel have been in good supply around Dunk Island and the local reefs. This time of year is perfect for pelagics as they migrate up the coast to the warmer water during the winter spawning. |  |

Doug is on the job here! The ocean can be a funny thing. Just when you think its all done for the day is when it can get interesting!

1 Hour later and we have an example of one of the best fighting fish in the ocean. The Marlin was released to fight another day so next time it could be you on the end of the rod! All of these fish have been caught in the waters around Dunk Island and other local fishing spots.
